IT Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy

• Develop and execute delivery strategies aligned with the organizations IT and business objectives.
• Lead and mentor IT delivery teams, including project managers, developers, and technical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in IT delivery to ensure excellence and efficiency.

Project Delivery Management

• Oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and defined scopes.
• Establish and enforce standardized delivery frameworks, methodologies, and tools for consistent project execution.
• Track project performance and provide regular status reports to leadership and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as the primary liaison for IT delivery activities, maintaining transparent and proactive communication with internal teams, clients, and external vendors.
• Collaborate closely with business units to understand requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Facilitate seamless coordination between IT delivery teams and other departments to meet organizational goals.

Resource and Capacity Management

• Optimize resource allocation across IT delivery projects to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of IT delivery team members.
• Ensure team members possess the skills, tools, and training required to achieve high performance.

Quality Assurance

• Establish and maintain quality standards for IT project deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational expectations.
• Conduct regular project reviews and audits to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Proactively address and resolve project challenges or quality issues during the delivery lifecycle.

Risk and Compliance Management

• Identify potential risks in IT delivery projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Implement risk management frameworks and ensure project compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Maintain a focus on secure, efficient, and compliant IT delivery operations.
