Manager - Indirect Procurement(Mumbai)

Job Purpose

The Indirect Procurement (IP) Manager is responsible for the execution of complex sourcing projects in a country and or on a regional level. By doing so the IP manager interacts actively with specific category lead to ensure that the sourcing is in the line with the set sourcing strategy.

The IP Manager negotiates agreements and makes sure the agreement is put on paper, approved in accordance with the applicable LOA and signed in accordance with the applicable POA.

The incumbent is responsible for the supplier management of suppliers under his control and leads the buyer I, II, III and is the end responsible for a flawless procure to pay process.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible to coordinate with the legal department, Head SCM, Regional Head, Indirect Procurement and Commodity Manager, contract development and reviews.
• Responsible for new supplier selection, price negotiations and development of alternative products in the line with the functional areas.
• Document and Review Purchasing Process.
• Supervise Open order report Aging orders.
• Responsible to maintain all the departments with up to date information on purchase order status, dates and closure.
• Develop analysis for material spending: by supplier, by commodity, by business area and by cost center.
• Referent for the local stakeholders.
