Indirect Tax Manager

Role & responsibilities :

Compliances and Litigation Management:

Preparation and filling of monthly and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, 1A, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C etc.) within statutory deadlines.

Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of GST data with the books of accounts along with handling Invoice Management System.

Provide assistance for preparation and monitoring of various tax payments, GST Refund Applications, etc.

Preparation of Monthly MIS for the management on GST Outflow, ITC Credit availed, un-availed, reversed and blocked.

• Support the team on GST Registration migrations, amendments & cancellation of registrations, etc.
• Adherence to GST provisions w.r.t various ITC/ reversal of ITC, invoicing & record maintenance related provisions, etc.

Proactively initiate system automation and process benchmarking in adherence with the upcoming GST amendments.

Work closely with the finance, accounting, and commercial teams to resolve queries and ensure seamless GST compliance.

Liasoning with the department officials visiting the premises for enquiries and scrutiny of Statutory records.

Assistance in Internal & External reviews & audits, liaising with Statutory Auditors in tax matters.

Identifying and addressing areas of GST risk, advising internal team on the GST implication of transactions and assist them in complying with GST regulations.

Management of Issue based audits, refund audits, and response to various Show Cause Notices relating to GST.
