Senior Automation Test Engineer - Web & Mobile App Testing (1-2 yrs)

Role : Sr Automation Test Engineer.

Experience : 3-6 Years.

Notice Period : Immediate.

Mode of Interview : Virtual.

Location : Bangalore.

Responsibilities :

- Designs, develops, maintains, and troubleshoots test automation suites through continuous integration for faster sanity checks, leading to quicker and stable deployments.

- Contribute towards test automation framework developments/enhancements and utility building initiatives.

- Perform functional testing of the features & end to end integration testing of various application flows ensuring reliability and stability of the overall application after each deployment.

- Identify, review, and diagnose the reported bugs to ensure overall system quality prior to customer release.

- Work closely with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and work towards development of test artefacts.

Must Have :

- 3-6 years of experience working in Agile methodologies.

- Demonstrated ability to test web applications/APIs/Mobile Apps effectively and efficiently.

- Hand on work experience and firm hold in high level programming languages, preferable Java.

- Strong conceptual understanding of the efficient usages of Data structures.

- Strong experience in UI Automation tools like Selenium using POM.

- Strong experience in Backend API automation using RestAssured library.

- Good exposure towards the unit testing frameworks like TestNG/Junit.

- Experience working with databases (SQL / NoSQL (Mongo)).

- Experience working with build tools like Maven / Gradle.

- Experience in working in the CI tools, preferably Jenkins.

- Excellent debugging skills to quickly identify issues and come up with the RCA.

- Working knowledge of Git commands.

- Experience with working with any of the Test/Project Management tools like Test Rail / JIRA.

- Prior experience towards the involvement around the peer code-reviews.

- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.

- Ability to mentor and guide fellow team members on testing strategies and automation.

Good to have :

- Experience in Mobile App Automation using Appium.

- Exposure towards Mobile App debugging tools like Charles Proxy/ Fiddler.

- Exposure towards performing the load testing using JMeter/ Gatling.

- Familiarity with the Unix based commands.

- Exposure towards the usages of any of the APM tools like AppDynamics /Grafana /New Relic.

- Experience in using the latest Java8 features like Lambda, Reflections.

- Understanding of concepts involved in data caching techniques / Docker / Kubernetes.

- Understanding of different design patterns (Singleton / Builder).

- Exposure towards any of the cloud-based technologies like AWS / GCP.

- Familiarity towards the usages of AI tools like ChatGPT & GitHub Copilot.
