Test Engineer - Internet/Mobile Banking Domain (2-4 yrs)

Position : Test Engineer - Internet Banking / Mobile Banking

Location : Mumbai

Experience : 2-4 Years

Responsibility:

- Expertise in internet banking / mobile banking.

- Experience working with Defect management tools & Test management tools.

- Coordination with Business, IT, Developers to properly articulate the requirement.

- Overall responsibility for Quality of test scenarios and coverage

- Review test scenarios and test cases designed by team.

- Ensure all critical business scenarios are covered in test design

- Help and clarify team in queries during test design phase.

- Walkthrough of test scenarios/cases to business teams

- Ensure completeness of test design documents.

Responsibilities :

Domain Expertise : Demonstrate expertise in internet banking and mobile banking functionalities, including but not limited to :

- Account management (balance inquiry, transaction history, fund transfers)

- Payments (bill payments, mobile top-ups, P2P transfers)

- Security features (login, authentication, two-factor authentication)

- Customer support features (help, FAQs, contact information)

- Requirements Analysis & Clarification : Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand and clarify requirements for internet and mobile banking applications.

- Effectively articulate these requirements to the development and testing teams.

- Test Planning & Design : Take overall responsibility for the quality of test scenarios and test coverage.

- Design comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure all critical business scenarios are covered.

- Test Case Review & Enhancement : Review test scenarios and test cases designed by other team members,

providing constructive feedback and ensuring completeness and accuracy.

- Test Execution & Reporting : Execute test cases, document test results, and report defects using defect management tools.

- Defect Management : Track and manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

- Collaboration & Communication : Effectively communicate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and developers to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and provide updates on testing progress.

- Test Documentation : Ensure completeness and accuracy of test design documents, test cases, and test reports.

- Knowledge Sharing & Mentoring : Help and clarify team members' queries during the test design and execution phases.

- Test Case Walkthroughs : Conduct walkthroughs of test scenarios and test cases with business teams to ensure alignment and understanding.

- Process Improvement : Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
