Automation Test Engineer - Cypress (4-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- Experience in creating Test Cases

- API Testing expertise

- Automation capabilities

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Execute automated test scripts.

- Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans.

- Document defects using the project's defect management tools.

- Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Design and develop automated test scripts using Cypress.

- Maintain and update existing test scripts and frameworks.

- Execute automated tests and analyze the results.

- Developing and maintaining Cypress-based test automation frameworks for web applications.

- Write, execute, and maintain end-to-end and integration tests using Cypress and JavaScript.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins for continuous testing.

- Work with AWS services to configure and manage test environments.

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or equivalent for RESTful web services.

- Create and manage test data for PostgreSQL/SQL databases and perform database testing.

- Collaborate with developers to identify test cases and ensure thorough testing.

- Knowledge of Cypress automation tool is a plus

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
