Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President for our Investment Banking division. This senior role involves leading equity and debt market strategies, managing end-to-end fundraising processes, and guiding companies in the EXIM space through potential IPOs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in investment banking, deep knowledge of the equity and debt markets, and a proven ability to execute comprehensive financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fund Raising and Capital Markets: Lead and manage fundraising efforts for companies in the EXIM sector, including equity and debt offerings. Oversee all aspects of capital raising, from initial strategy development to deal execution.
- IPO and Public Listings: Guide companies through the IPO process, including preparation, filing, roadshows, and post-listing support. Ensure successful navigation of regulatory requirements and market conditions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with company executives, promoters, bankers, and other key stakeholders. Provide strategic financial advice and solutions tailored to client needs.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the EXIM sector. Develop strategies to attract potential clients and expand the firm's market presence.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of analysts and associates. Oversee their work, provide guidance, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to capitalize on market conditions and drive business growth.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements. Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment banking, with a strong focus on equity and debt markets.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising, IPO executions, and financial transactions.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
