Job Description: Debt/Equity Fundraising Manager.
Position: Debt/Equity Fundraising Manager.
Location: Delhi/Mumbai.
Employment Type: Full-Time.
Experience: 5+ years in fundraising, investment banking, or financial services.
Role Overview:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Debt/Equity Fundraising Manager to join our finance team.
- The ideal candidate will lead efforts to secure funding through debt and equity channels, fostering relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
- You will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's capital structure aligns with its long-term financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Debt Fundraising:
- Identify and approach potential lenders, including banks, NBFCs, and other financial institutions.
- Evaluate and negotiate loan agreements, term sheets, and covenants.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing lenders.
- Monitor market trends to recommend cost-effective debt instruments and financing structures.
Equity Fundraising:
- Develop and implement strategies for equity fundraising from institutional investors, venture capital, and private equity firms.
- Prepare investment decks, business plans, and financial models to pitch to investors.
- Negotiate terms of equity funding and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Manage due diligence processes, including financial audits, legal compliance, and investor presentations.
Strategic Financial Planning:.
- Work closely with senior management to align funding strategies with business growth plans.
- Conduct financial analysis to determine optimal capital structure (debt vs. equity).
- Monitor and report key fundraising metrics to stakeholders.
Compliance & Reporting:.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements for fundraising activities.
- Provide periodic reports to the management and board on fundraising progress and utilization of funds.
Qualifications:.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred).
- 5+ years of proven experience in debt/equity fundraising, investment banking, or corporate finance.
- Strong knowledge of capital markets, fundraising processes, and financial instruments.
- Excellent negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, business valuation, and investment pitch preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple fundraising processes simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Key Skills:
- In-depth understanding of debt/equity fundraising mechanisms.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of financial laws, regulations, and compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
