About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our UPI Team at Paytm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects and working directly with senior leadership in fast-paced startup environments. This role will be instrumental in driving key strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across our UPI ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and track the execution of strategic UPI initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines
• Prepare and present comprehensive status reports to senior management, providing clear visibility on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Lead system performance improvement initiatives with partner banks, identifying optimization opportunities and implementing solutions
• Oversee the timely delivery of compliance and risk-related projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain robust tracking mechanisms for project timelines, deliverables, and key performance indicators
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement standardized practices to improve operational effectiveness
• Manage stakeholder communications and expectations at all levels of the organization
• Planning team engagement and offsites.

Required Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in CEO office, Founder office, or similar strategic roles within fast-growing startups
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex, high-impact projects
• Understanding of financial technology, preferably with exposure to UPI/payments ecosystem will be preferred
• Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
• Experience in working with banking partners and understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks will be preferred
