About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to lead the marketing
efforts for our merchant business. You will be instrumental in crafting strategies that drive
product adoption, engagement, and retention among merchants. You will collaborate with
cross-functional teams to align product positioning with market needs and execute impactful
campaigns to grow the merchant base.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Positioning & Messaging:
- Develop and refine product positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to
merchant audiences.
- Ensure alignment with the brand narrative and target market needs.
Market Research & Insights:
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the
merchant ecosystem.
- Gather merchant feedback to shape marketing strategies and product development.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Design and execute go-to-market strategies for new product features or launches targeting
merchants.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and design teams to ensure smooth rollouts.
Demand Generation:
- Develop and implement campaigns (email marketing, whatsapp campaigns, etc.) to drive
merchant acquisition and engagement.
- Optimize campaigns based on performance metrics and feedback.
Content & Collateral Creation:
- Create compelling content such as case studies, presentations, videos, and blogs to educate
and inspire merchants.
- Equip the sales team with high-impact sales enablement tools.
Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance and product usage metrics to measure success.
- Generate actionable insights to refine marketing strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Background: Master's degree from a Tier 1 college (IIM/ISB/MICA or equivalent).
- Experience: 3-4 years in product marketing, preferably in a B2B or merchant-centric business.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, market trends, and user behavior to inform
marketing strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for
storytelling.
- Project Management: Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and meeting
deadlines.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and product
analytics tools.
- Creativity: Out-of-the-box thinking to craft innovative campaigns that resonate with merchants.
