Job Description

What will you be working on
- Analysing the needs of various merchant segments and identifying growth opportunities for PayGlocal.
- Creating and executing a Merchant Acquisition strategy for PayGlocal, focusing on onboarding merchants with international payment requirements.
- Leading the initiation, structuring, and negotiation of high-impact partnerships with prospective merchants.
- Providing ongoing support to onboarded merchants, managing their relationship lifecycle by collaborating with Customer Support, Risk Operations, and Technology teams.
- Taking ownership of sales targets, both overall and within specific accounts, and developing strategic plans to achieve them.
- Collaborating with Product Marketing teams to communicate merchant product requirements and feedback.
- Launching new PayGlocal offerings in the market, working closely with Customer Support, Marketing, Product, and Technology teams.
Qualifications
- Strong passion for cross-border payments and business development.
- Over 10 years of experience in business development, with at least 3-5 years focused on Cross-Border Sales and expertise in enterprise prospecting.
- Demonstrated success in sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, and engaging with all levels of client organizations, including executive and C-suite stakeholders.
- Extensive sales experience in targeted territories and verticals related to cross-border business.
- Exceptional skills in negotiation and communication.
- Strong strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to travel across the region to onboard new merchants.
