Engineering Manager
Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 5-10 Years
Reporting to: CEO / Founder
About the role
- We are looking for someone who will be responsible for leading a team of application and front-end / Back-end engineers to drive innovation in full-stack product development, while relentlessly improving performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- You will be joining a small, growing team to work in a fast-paced environment and have an opportunity to play a key role in the growth of the company.
Desired Profile
- Takes pride in their work, committed to meeting deadlines and producing high-quality code.
- Technically Hands-on, prior experience with scalable Architecture.
- Coaching, and mentoring of the team.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and proactively learn about the system (Quick Learner).
- 5-8 years of experience in developing products with at least 1 year of experience in leading a team of 5 or more software engineers.
- High-quality software design skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with Product Managers and UX Professionals.
- Hands-on with web technologies, MySQL, NoSql, redis, Python, Linux, AWS / GCP, etc.
- Understand and write performant, testable and maintainable code.
- Experience in Test-Driven Development.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Experience with high-performance websites catering to millions of daily traffic is a plus with an ability to bring in software engineering life cycle best practices.
- Programming languages - Python, Php, ReactJS, Android
- Microservices
- RESTful Server development.
- JMS (ActiveMQ, Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- NoSql Databases - MongoDB / CouchDB / CouchBase / Cassandra / Redis
- Docker
- Expertise in relational databases
- CI/CD - Jenkins, Git
- Exposure to Android apps and ReactJS would be a bonus.

- This is a full-time role, and is NOT a freelance role.
