What we are looking for

We are seeking a talented senior backend engineer to join our team and contribute to developing cutting-edge software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems. You will work closely with a team of skilled engineers to build scalable and efficient applications.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Python.

- Develop and test RESTful APIs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

- Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Aurora) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchDB, or Elasticsearch).

- Leverage cloud technologies (AWS and Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker) to build and deploy scalable applications.

- Build and configure CI/CD pipelines to automate the development and deployment process.

- Implement caching, queueing, and big data technologies (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Spark) to optimize system performance.

- Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system stability and performance.

Qualifications:

- BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.

- In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and distributed systems.

- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.

- Proficiency in building and configuring CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of caching, queueing, and big data technologies.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with serverless architectures and functions as a service (FaaS).

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns.

- Experience with security best practices and vulnerability assessment.

- Contributions to open-source projects.
