Accounts Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet and financial statements
• Hands-on working experience with statutory audits, including IT depreciation and ledger scrutiny
• Assist in ensuring accurate and timely submission of statutory reports and compliances
• Manage and reconcile accounting for banking transactions, including loan management
• Awareness of banking loan transactions and accounting
• Work closely with internal and external auditors
• Support in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for a manufacturing entity
• Assist in understanding and implementing ODI compliances (not mandatory)
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and processes specific to manufacturing industries

Preferred candidate profile

• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing entity
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes
• Experience with statutory audits, including IT depreciation and ledger scrutiny
• Familiarity with banking transactions, loan management, and compliance
• Excellent knowledge of Tally ERP, ERP Next
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently
