Role & responsibilities

• Supervision & Coordination:
• Supervise and manage VMC machine operators and staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and per the production schedule.
• Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide training as necessary.
• Machine Operation & Maintenance:
• Ensure VMC machines are set up, calibrated, and running efficiently.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance and repairs on VMC machines to avoid downtime.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Production Monitoring:
• Oversee the production process, ensuring that parts are being machined to specifications.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
• Maintain and manage production records, including output, downtime, and maintenance activities.
• Quality Control:
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Liaise with the quality control team for final inspection of products.
• Inventory & Materials Management:
• Ensure the availability of raw materials and tools required for production.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and consumables for VMC machines.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain daily production reports, machine logs, and other necessary documentation.
• Report any issues or concerns to upper management in a timely manner.
