Job Summary:
The Civil Engineer will play a key role in designing, planning, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of manufacturing facilities and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles, experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Develop detailed designs for manufacturing facilities, including layouts, structural plans, and construction details.
Ensure designs meet all relevant standards, regulations, and company requirements.
Project Management:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from conception to completion.
Prepare project schedules, budgets, and reports.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Site Supervision:
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all projects comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures on site.
Maintenance and Improvement:
Develop and oversee maintenance plans for existing facilities.
Identify opportunities for improvements and upgrades to enhance efficiency and safety.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on manufacturing facilities.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant design tools.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
