NPD Engineer/Deputy Manager

Preparation, distribution and presentation of project status reports to project team members and management. Review and approval of technology documents such as Technology Transfer plans, Validation Master plans, process risk assessments etc. • Providing manufacturing descriptions and technical evaluations for regulatory filings, and provides technical support. • Identifying and executing process robustness improvement projects, where required. Technical leadership for process monitoring, control and continuous improvement strategy and management • Author weekly project status reports and issue resolution tracking reports. Create and execute timing, development and validation plans • Relevant problem-solving experience including elimination of wast.

Works on a cross-functional project team through all phases of the product development process • Includes planning and executing projects from concept through the launch and initial production ramp-up • Designing experiments, analyzing, documenting, and summarizing results • Partnering with Operations to understand manufacturing capabilities and equipment capacity, and ensuring that new products are designed for manufacturing • Working with the process engineering team to design for manufacturing and validate manufacturing processes, as well as create material specifications • Designing experiments, analyzing data, and summarizing and documenting results • Analyzing, compiling, documenting, and communicating test results to the broader team
