In-Process Quality AM/Manager (Hosur)

Key Responsibilities

• In-Process Quality Control:
• Monitor and maintain quality standards during the manufacturing process.
• Ensure adherence to quality guidelines and specifications.

• Rejection Reduction:
• Analyze defects and implement corrective actions to reduce rejection rates.
• Develop and implement effective quality improvement plans.

• Process Improvement:
• Identify inefficiencies and drive process enhancements to optimize production.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and other methodologies to improve process workflows.

• Customer Handling:
• Collaborate with customers to resolve quality issues and meet their requirements.
• Provide timely updates and reports on quality metrics and process improvements.

• Data Analysis:
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Use analytical tools to identify trends and derive actionable insights for quality enhancement.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in in-process quality or similar roles in the automobile industry.
• Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing and other process improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to reduce rejection rates and improve production processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer handling skills.
• Familiarity with quality management tools such as Six Sigma, 8D, or FMEA is a plus.
