About the Role:

Sigmoid is looking to onboard a Practice Leader to head our BFSI (Banking and Financial Services Insurance) Practice. In this role, you will drive strategic initiatives, foster innovation, and provide visionary leadership to our BFSI practice.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee our Banking and Financial Services and Insurance Practice, setting strategic direction and driving business growth.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to expand our presence in the banking and financial services sector, identifying market opportunities and driving revenue growth.

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and business development teams to develop go-to-market strategies, identify key clients, and drive new business opportunities.

- Stay abreast of emerging trends in banking and financial services, leveraging technology to innovate and deliver value to our clients.

- Lead a diverse team of consultants and subject matter experts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

- Partner with clients to understand their business challenges and opportunities, providing strategic guidance and innovative solutions.

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executives and decision-makers within client organizations.

- Monitor and analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics, adjusting our strategy and offerings as needed.

- Drive thought leadership initiatives, representing our company at industry events, conferences, and forums.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree (BE / BTech - CS) from Tier I / II universities like IIT's / NIT's and MBA from Top Tier B-schools (IIM) preferred.

- 12-18 Years of Experience in the banking and financial services industry, with a track record of success in strategic leadership roles.

- Deep understanding of banking and financial services operations, technology trends, and regulatory requirements.

- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive business growth, and deliver value to clients.

-Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically, analyze complex problems, and develop innovative solutions.

Desired Skills:

- Understanding of applications of statistical and machine learning algorithms.

- Strong project management and team management skills and ability to work with global teams.

- Any hands on quantitative experience with analytic tools.

- A self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance.
