Practice Head - Data Engineering - IT Services Firm (18-22 yrs)

Looking for a technocrat and an astute functional professional to lead Big Data, DW & BI practices that cater to cross BU demands. Should have experience in Pre-Sales and technical solutions, strategize and implement Service Offerings, GTM Plan. As a trusted adviser to our customers, be on top of technology trends. Build and ramp up (cross skilled) high performance team that delivers to customer needs across geos and strategize for sustainable growth.

- Looking for an 18+ years experienced Practice Head to lead the Big Data, DW & BI practices.

- A technocrat and an astute professional in functional & operational aspects

- Experienced in Pre-Sales, Solutioning, GTM, Service Offerings, and Lead generation to closure.

- Talent management - Experience in building and ramping up high performance teams.

- Delivery - Understand project requirements, coordinate with engineers, and direct projects in the right direction in a timely manner.

- Plan/strategy to meet targets like Gross Margin, revenue, and Operational targets like utilization etc.

- Extensive experience in leading Data Engineering (Expert in any cloud - Azure/AWS/Snowflake/Databricks) and Business Intelligence solutioning and spearhead all Pre-Sales & Solution initiatives.

- Exposure to tools/projects on Data governance, Data quality & data observability

(- Tools - Collibra or Alation or Informatica Axon)

- Work closely with sales teams, client interfacing, collateral development, research and assistance in lead generation, deal closure.

- Proficient in Operations and should be able to run big teams (Expert handling a team size of 100 Plus members) with multiple projects going on simultaneously.

- Exposure towards interacting with CXO, Data Strategies Stakeholders predominantly from North American and Europe region.

- Work with team to design, develop and evolve highly scalable and fault-tolerant distributed components using big data technologies, Data platforms and Business Intelligence.

- Worked with Partners to develop and execute on the GTM strategies.

- Build service Offerings, Plan/strategy for growth.

- Focused to meet targets like Gross Margin, Revenue and Operational targets like utilization etc.

- Abreast with the latest Technologies and Trends in the market

- Experience in Building and Ramping up high performance teams!

- Understand project requirements, coordinate with engineers, and direct projects in the right direction in a timely manner.

- Must ensure teams follow correct procedures, policies, and documentation requirements across project phases.
