Plant Head

• Brief Knowledge of SMED, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, 5s, 7QC Tools, Root cause analysis, Fish bone analyses, why-why analyses, safety training, Urgent Vs Important, SQDMPI, and many more such Technical Tools.
• Forecasting of Demand, supply, Trends, Contingencies etc. to be prepared for future.
• Submitting the Annual & Quarterly budget regarding Capex, Resources, Manpower & many more to Top Management & monitoring it.
• Working on Profit Centre maximization & cost reduction projects.
• Creating more leaders within the organization by fostering communication & Training throughout the key positions & different levels.
• Delivering Final results independently by handling whole plant, so that Top management need not to worry about operational challenges.
• Receiving Production schedules from all customers.
• Directing the Team of Production, Quality, Procurement, Stores/Logistics, Design Development, Maintenance (Machine/Tools) every morning to achieve the desired results/Targets.
• Strategic Vision to take the Organization to the next level by Forecasting, Planning, Organizing, Budgeting, Preventing, Proactive approach by introducing World Class Practices in Manufacturing plant.
• Directly reporting to Top Management- about Strategies, Planning, Achievements, Challenges, Implementations, New Technologies, Monthly all departments objectives etc.
• Proactively finding solutions to new challenges. Introductions of WCM practices in plant.
• Being an Entrepreneur inside the organization & responsible for Production, Quality & Margins, Customer Engagement/ complaints Handling, Process implementation, People development, Handling of System Audits (IATF-16949 & ISO-9001:2015) & customer Audits.
• Monitoring Daily Planned Vs Actual & CAPA against the raised problems. Keyed in the system every day.
• Resolving the issues & providing directions to Team & Coaching the Team for betterment of Organization as well as Personal growth.
• Having Direct communication with PPC, Quality, RM, HR, ND, Maintenance Dispatch, Stores, Sales, Accounts Depts.
• Ensuring monthly Quality objectives, Tests, Complaints & reviewing reports from QA Team.
• Identifying the scope of improvement in Productivity, Quality, Controlling Rejection/Rework ratio with Technical input & reporting the same to Top Management.
• Managing Plant expenses (Capex, Maintenance Budget controlling, Purchasing of Capex Items).
