Plant Head Manufacturing

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Plant Head to oversee the operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, sheet metal manufacturing, and overall plant operations. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience, the candidate will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Operations:

• Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
• Monitor and optimize production processes for cost efficiency and productivity.

HVAC and Sheet Metal Manufacturing:

• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of HVAC systems within the plant.
• Supervise the sheet metal manufacturing process to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to address technical challenges.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Maintain high standards for product quality and process compliance.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, supervisors, and production staff.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for team growth.

Maintenance and Inventory Management:

• Oversee the maintenance of plant machinery and infrastructure to minimize downtime.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of raw materials and spare parts while controlling costs.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with senior management to align plant objectives with company goals.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and manage budgets for the plant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with specific expertise in HVAC systems and sheet metal production.
• Proven track record in managing plant operations and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety standards.
