PPC Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled PPC Engineer to oversee and optimize production planning and control activities in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in HVAC systems, sheet metal manufacturing, and production planning. The role involves coordinating production schedules, ensuring material availability, and optimizing resource utilization to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Scheduling:

• Develop and implement detailed production plans to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure seamless workflow.
• Monitor and adjust schedules based on priority changes, machine availability, and material constraints.

Inventory and Material Management:

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
• Collaborate with procurement to plan and control material inflow and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of material usage and stock movements.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production efficiency, downtime, and material wastage.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production progress and forecasts to management.

Process Optimization:

• Implement Lean Manufacturing or other efficiency improvement techniques to optimize production processes.
• Identify and address issues that hinder production efficiency or product quality.

Coordination and Communication:

• Liaise with engineering, quality control, and logistics teams to align production schedules with business goals.
• Communicate updates and changes in production plans to all relevant stakeholders.
• Address and resolve any production-related issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in production planning and control in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with HVAC systems and sheet metal production is highly desirable.
