Procurement Specialist

Job Title -Electrical Engineering

Notice period -Immediate Joiner/ 30 days / 60 days

Location - Navi Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with end-users to develop monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement plans.
2. Review purchase requisitions for technical specifications.
3. Identify potential vendors and send inquiries for required items.
4. Prepare internal cost estimates (ICE).
5. Evaluate offers based on technical and commercial aspects.
6. Ensure alignment between user requirements and vendor specifications.
7. Negotiate with vendors and provide details to the Buying Manager for finalizing deals.
8. Draft approval notes and recommendations for purchase orders (POs).
9. Place orders and update entries in the SAP system.
10. Address and resolve audit issues related to procurement.
11. Monitor and ensure delivery and vendor payments.
12. Guide buyers in vendor selection and negotiation.
13. Coordinate with category teams for strategy and vendor development.

Education:

• Required: BE/B.Tech.

Experience:

• Required: 5-9 years of experience in category sourcing and manufacturing.
• Desired: Category-based purchasing, supply management in similar plant operations, and closing commercial deals.

Additional Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience with imports, EPCG procedures, SEZ procurement, and GST.
• Understanding of revenue procurement and plant shutdown procurement planning.
• Strong technical knowledge of the relevant category.
• Familiarity with SAP systems.
