Below is the brief about the job role:

We are seeking a high-ticket loan underwriter who is responsible for evaluating and approving large loan applications of non-individual up to 18.5 Cr, Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

Responsibilities:

1. Loan Application Review: Analyze and verify loan applications and supporting documents.
2. Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments and credit analyses to determine the borrowers ability to repay.
3. Compliance: Ensure all loan applications comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
4. Decision Making: Make loan approval or denial decisions based on risk assessment and company guidelines.
5. Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on assessment findings and document reasons for loan approval or denial and also maintaining paper documents as per company rules.
6. Communication: Interact with loan managers (Sales) and clients to obtain additional information or clarification as needed.
7. Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry and market trends and changes in regulations affecting loan underwriting.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelors degree in finance, Preferably CA or MBA finance from a reputed college
2. Experience: 5 years of experience in loan underwriting, preferably with high-ticket loans.
3. Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in underwriting software and financial tools.
