Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in development and integrations. The ideal candidate must be proficient in ServiceNow platform capabilities, especially in integrating various systems and ensuring seamless functionality. This role involves working on global services projects supporting Motorola products, managing incident tracking, and contributing to ServiceNow development efforts.
Key Responsibilities :
ServiceNow Development :
- Design, develop, and implement custom ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Develop and maintain integrations with external tools and systems.
- Customize workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
Integration Expertise :
- Lead integration initiatives involving third-party systems.
- Build and maintain REST/SOAP web services, APIs, and data imports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements.
- Support the ongoing transition from Remedy to ServiceNow.
- Address backlogged ServiceNow development tasks.
- Work closely with testing, deployment, and project management teams.
Incident and Request Management :
- Support tools and systems monitoring Motorola products.
- Handle ticket creation, tracking, and incident management via ServiceNow.
- Ensure global support and product implementations.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB.
- Expert-level knowledge in ServiceNow integration (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript and Glide.
Project Experience :
- Experience with ServiceNow transitions, especially from other ITSM tools (e.g., Remedy).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Soft Skills :
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- ServiceNow Developer or Implementation Specialist Certification.
- Experience supporting mobile app integrations with ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of global support frameworks and ITIL processes.
