Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer with expertise in both performance, automation and manual testing to join our team.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct comprehensive testing and identify areas for improvement in both user experience and system performance.

Responsibilities :

- Analyze technical requirements/specification and documentation to plan, develop, and implement test plans and automated test suits.

- Assist in the automation of back-end, API, front-end, and other test cases utilizing Selenium, Cypress, AI Tools, or other frameworks

- Collaborate with development teams to provide feedback on design and test ability.

- Execute load testing to evaluate system performance and scalability, using tools like JMeter.

- Design and execute performance, load, and stress tests to evaluate the scalability and performance of applications under various conditions.

- Employ SQL and relevant tools for data validation and database testing.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).

- Perform manual testing, create test cases, and ensure comprehensive coverage.

- Identify gaps between manual and automation processes and recommend improvements.

- Provide timely support and be available for debugging and issue resolution.

- Apply strong test design principles to create effective test cases.

- Leverage domain knowledge to contribute insights to testing strategies.

- Comfortable working remotely and being able to work across time zones.

Requirements :

- 5+ years professional experience working as a QA Automation Engineer.

- Must exhibit strong knowledge in the concepts of software testing life cycles and in different types of testing. (Functional, Regression, Integration and System Testing)

- Experience in defect management including usage of tools like JIRA etc.,
