OPPO - Tax Head (10-12 yrs)

Job Description:

- Establish and improve the company's tax management system, ensure effective internal control and mitigate risks

- Responsible for overall tax compliance management and leading/coaching tax team;

- Responsible for tax planning, including share/business restructuring, risk management, transfer pricing and international tax planning

- Respond to queries / notices / assessments /surveys / summons raised by tax authorities; Handle the tax litigation and maintain the good relationship with the tax authorities

- Explore efficient solutions for tax optimization and work together with the finance team to ensure tax policies being complied for all operations

- Keep abreast of new tax rules, best market practices and provide timely updates to management and other stakeholders and provide advice to change existing practices if necessary

Requirements.

- At least 10 years of experience in Direct tax practice, especially in handling litigation matters independently;.

- Must possess good exposure in corporate taxation matters, regular filing / reporting, International Taxation and Transfer Pricing

- Familiar with corporate regulatory requirements, GST, tax system and ERP;

- Has experienced of working in sizable MNC with excellent command of written and spoken English;

- Active leadership and strong stakeholder management skills;

- Qualified CPA will be preferred.
