Assistant Manager - Physical Security

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the deployment of security personnel at Ola

Campus and E-Zone. Extend the support to other facilities when required.

• Monitor security officers to ensure compliance with the facilitys security policies.

• Oversee and deploy the security personnel at the sites according to the criticality.

• Ensure proper visitor management practices/process are in place to prevent any

unauthorized access to the facilities.

• Management of the parking space at the Ola Campus. Ensure adequate parking spaces

are maintained for the employees while also reserving the spaces for Leaders and for

the engineering teams for testing.

Policy and Relationship Management:

• Create and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) specific to the facility.

• Ensure the SOPs are implemented and followed on site by the employees.

• Escalate security issues to management and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.

• Handle any customer related escalations at the main gate to ensure they are not

entering the facility or become a threat to the leaders.

Event and Emergency Preparedness:

• Deployment of additional security manpower and security systems as required for

events inside and outside Ola Campus.

• Coordinate security measures for events and manage the team during emergencies.

• Ensure all the approvals and pre-requisites for events at Ola Campus are taken from the

building management team for a smooth flow of events.

• Conduct Fire and Safety training at the campus for employees and support staffs.

• Ensure the Security agencies are providing the training to Security staff on a regular

basis.

Security and Risk Assessment:

• Perform surprise audits and risk assessments to identify security threats.

• Perform audits at the facilities and labs to ensure safety and security of the properties

and employees.

• Create audit reports and ensure the observed points in the audits are resolved.

• Assess and maintain security systems, such as alarms and CCTV. Identify and install

CCTVs & Security systems if required at the facility.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Maintain dashboards and reports to be sent weekly to the leaders.

• Document security incidents and create reports for management.

• Analyze data to propose improvements and optimization in Security manpower cost and

count.

• Investigate any Security incidents and make reports on the same on a timely manner.

Security Projects:

• Planning, assisting in procuring, dispatching, installation oversight, till final

implementation and commissioning of security systems in Ola offices pan-Bharat and

outside India where required. This will also include monitoring functionality and

initiating remedial measures where required.

• Deployment of security manpower when required in the Ola offices.

Security Systems:

• Overseeing the CCTV and Fire Alarm system at Ola Campus.

• Operating the ID Cube attendance platform (HR View) for generating reports and

activation/deactivation of employee profiles.

• Operating the CCTV platforms like Hik-Connect, Hik-Central, PRAMA Online and IMOU

enterprise app for the CCTVS installed in the Service Centers across India.
