Responsibilities:
Help business stakeholders understand, interpret and improve operational performance with the help of data
Analyse and interpret complex data to identify patterns trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Create hypotheses to explain business outcomes and validate them with data; design experiments to collect additional data to test hypotheses when required
Develop algorithms, models and decision support systems to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization
Identify gaps in data and work with business, technology and data teams to implement systems to collect and store data as required
Conduct thorough exploratory data analysis to identify underlying patterns, anomalies, and relationships within data sets.
Utilize statistical methods and data visualization techniques to summarize key findings and insights.
Develop hypotheses based on initial data exploration and design experiments to validate these hypotheses.
Prepare and present comprehensive EDA reports to stakeholders, highlighting significant findings and recommendations
Skills Required:
Familiarity with analytics techniques such as time series analysis, regression analysis, cohort analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, sentiment analysis and simulation
Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to grasp diverse business scenarios and frame them with numbers.
Felicity with numbers; must have intermediate to advanced proficiency in statistics, statistical tools and methodologies.
Must have intermediate to advanced skills in SQL. Advance level skills in Excel (complex formulas, Power Query and DAX) OR Python OR R is necessary to succeed.
Exceptional ability to organize and interpret large sets of data to discern patterns and derive meaningful insights with a proven track record of effectively communicating actionable insights to facilitate superior decision making by all stakeholders. This requires both a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to see the bigger picture.
Should have good working knowledge of relational databases and tools like SQL and Python.
Solid experience in data analysis and reporting with expertise in handling complex business data.
Experience in Statistical analysis ML models to build implement robust Decision Support Systems Models.
Exposure to text analytics, NLP (Natural Language Processing), LLM / RAG application development will be an advantage.
Good written oral communication with intermediate fluency in English and the ability to clearly communicate findings.
