We are seeking a visionary leader with a proven track record of success in business development and a passion for the retail industry.
Please note: This role requires a 6-day workweek and is based in Mumbai.
About the Role:
As the Business Development at you will play a pivotal role in driving our expansion strategy. You will lead a team of business development professionals to identify and secure prime locations for our new property. Your strategic thinking and leadership skills will be instrumental in shaping the future of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of business development professionals.
- Property Acquisition: Identify and evaluate potential commercial real estate properties for new locations.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand local real estate trends and identify high-potential areas.
- Negotiations: Negotiate favorable lease terms and agreements with property owners and landlords.
- Site Evaluation: Conduct site visits to assess the suitability of properties, considering factors such as foot traffic, visibility, and accessibility
- Due Diligence: Perform comprehensive due diligence on properties, including legal reviews, inspections, and regulatory compliance checks.
- Transaction Management: Oversee the entire transaction process from property identification to lease signing and handover
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance and legal, to ensure seamless property acquisitions.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with property owners, real estate agents, and other key stakeholders in the commercial real estate market.
Qualification
- Proven track record in real estate acquisition and business development, preferably in the F&B industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office S
- Passion for the F&B industry and a keen eye for real estate.
