About the Role...

This position is responsible for developing industry specific solutions encapsulating best practices for a particular sub-industry vertical and supporting sales/marketing/implementation initiatives for a specific industry (e.g. CPG, Retail, Semiconductors etc). This role will serve as an industry expert with deep planning domain knowledge and interface with platform, sales and implementation teams to ensure o9 s success in a particular sub-industry.

The role requires deep analytical, technical, and complex problem-solving skills with knowledge of supply chain planning and optimization methods, financial computations, statistical analysis, and advanced mathematical modeling techniques. It also requires exposure to software development and release management methodologies.

The successful candidate will be a skilled leader with a proven track record of driving results, collaborating cross functionally across many internal external teams, building trust across the organization, applying critical thinking and business management skills, and managing diverse groups of people and projects.

What you ll do for us

• Develop and release industry reference solutions on a cadence (quarterly/bi-annually) so implementation teams can use the template as a starting point for blueprinting and BR1
• Leverage building blocks released by RD/PMM as part of the standard Reference Model releases
• Package the building blocks into an e2e solution and release it with a starter dataset and workflows capturing industry specific best practices
• Responsible for developing industry specific training content and training customers/partners prior to blueprinting
• Support Middle of the funnel in the sales process along with Client Managers to be the industry expert, influence/present prescriptive implementation plans and gain credibility that o9 can enable large scale transformations as part of the sales cycle
• Support top of the funnel in the sales process, along with industry QBs, to develop and assist in industry focused business development activities - messaging, campaigns etc.
• Lead solution definition and blueprinting for all customers in their sub-industry vertical globally
• Ensure business processes developed from business / data requirement documentation adhere to industry best practices and align with client objectives and business model.
• Oversee and review the work of Solution Architects and Consultants to develop clear functional and technical design, document data requirements and build complex datasets.
• Be the knowledge champion for their sub-industry (reference universe documentation owner)
• Owner for creating demo-able assets for their sub-industry
• Involved in customer projects and ref universe extensions done by delivery teams
• Weekly/Biweekly calls with all global projects in their industry (with customer portfolio teams)
• Training delivery team leads for the sub-industry
• Hiring and building the team
• Hire right people in various regions to support all of the above (EMEA, APAC, US)

What you ll have...

• Bachelor Degree required preferably in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields with a concentration in operations or analytics
• Master s Degree preferred
• Bachelors and 8+ years experience implementing supply chain planning solutions from SAP ERP and APO implementation experience.
• Must have implemented multiple SAP projects. Should know the SAP Table level details.
• Should be able to guide project team on SAP integration. Conduct BP sessions with customer. Discuss customer business requirements, should be able to understand customer SAP implementation and help to map o9 functionality with Master and Transaction data.
• Knowledge of spreadsheets and software (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets), document processing (Microsoft Word, Google Docs), presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint) is required
• Deep knowledge of best practices in supply chain planning optimization
• Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts, processes, organization and KPIs.
• Deep expertise in key priority industries - CPG, Apparel/Footwear, Retail, Industrial Manufacturing, Semiconductor/High Tech etc.
• Proven ability to collaborate with and drive cross-functional, interdepartmental teams and technical resources to meet goals.
• Strong analytical techniques, data mining knowledge and proficiency in handling and processing large amounts of data is needed
• Ability to identify key insights and critical thinking to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks is key
• Strong verbal, written, presentation and demonstration / training skills are necessary
• Ability to communicate mathematical, technical or software usage concepts to audiences with limited prior mathematics, technical or software background is key
• Ability to work in teams, distributed across locations and time zones and at executive and junior levels in a corporate hierarchy is key
• Ability and flexibility to work with teams globally, across time zones.
