Job Title: MEP Manager

Location: Nanakaramguda, Hyderabad

Department: Project Management / Engineering

Timings:9.30 AM to 6.30 Pm (Monday to Saturday)

Job Summary:

The MEP Manager will oversee the design, execution, and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for Ridhira Living's projects. This role involves managing contractors, ensuring timely delivery of services, and aligning MEP installations with the companys vision for quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Coordination:

Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to align MEP systems with overall project goals.

Develop and monitor MEP project schedules, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.

Facilitate seamless integration of MEP systems into the overall project design.

Design Review & Implementation:

Evaluate MEP designs, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with local codes and project requirements.

Propose and implement design modifications to improve system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure compatibility and integration of MEP systems with smart building technologies.

Budget & Cost Management:

Manage the MEP budget, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors, ensuring the best value for the company.

Review and approve invoices related to MEP services and materials.

Execution & Supervision:

Oversee the on-site execution of MEP works, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline expectations.

Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues.

Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with company standards.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover:

Lead the testing and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring all systems are fully operational.

Coordinate with the maintenance team to facilitate smooth handovers.

Prepare final reports, documentation, and as-built drawings for MEP systems.

Sustainability & Innovation:

Incorporate energy-efficient and sustainable practices in MEP designs and implementations.

Stay updated on industry advancements and recommend innovative solutions.

Team Management:

Supervise and mentor the MEP team, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.

Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related discipline).

Minimum 10-12 years of experience managing MEP systems in real estate or hospitality projects.

Strong knowledge of local building codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Proficiency in project management software and MEP design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with green building standards and certifications is a plus.

Work Conditions:

Based at Ridhira Living Pvt Ltds Nanakaramguda office with frequent site visits.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
