Senior Product Manager

The Opportunity

Nutanix is looking for a high energy Product Management professional with high-caliber leadership, analytical and influencing skills to be part of our dynamic and growing team. This role of a Product Manager will be responsible for advancing Nutanix s enterprise-scale management capabilities across the Nutanix Ecosystem and empower customers to manage their infrastructure seamlessly and efficiently at scale.

About the Team

At Nutanix, you will be part of the Nutanix Product Management team, a group of professionals who are passionate about driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customers. The team is geographically dispersed but is closely knit, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where teamwork is valued and encouraged.

As for the work setup, Nutanix offers a hybrid model with the expectation of being in the office for 3 days a week to foster team collaboration and face-to-face interactions.

Travel requirements at Nutanix are as needed, depending on the nature of your role and the projects you are working on. You may have the opportunity to travel to different office locations, attend industry events, provide you with valuable experiences and opportunities for professional growth.

Your Role

• Define, develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for scalable infrastructure deployment and management through Nutanix Central and Prism.
• Regularly engage with customers to synthesize feedback into prioritized requirements and actionable solutions.
• Write detailed product requirement documents (PRDs).
• Drive end-to-end product delivery by coordinating with geographically distributed cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Solutions, Support, Sales and Partner teams on an ongoing basis.
• Build consensus, provide clarity, and foster alignment across internal stakeholders.
• Evangelize the product vision, advocate for customers, and provide briefings and ongoing field support.
• Develop and maintain compelling internal and external collateral to support product success.
• Partner with marketing to provide positioning and messaging as well as contribute to GTM enablement. Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to Nutanix sales teams.

What You Will Bring

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science or related fields is strongly preferred, an MBA is nice to have.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure services (IaaS, PaaS), large-scale deployments and enterprise data-center products
• Experience with public clouds such as AWS or Azure is a strong plus.
• Experience with Platform services like Identity and Access Management (IAM), API, Alerts/Events, Categories/Tagging, Projects and Marketplace a big plus
• 5+ years of product management experience
• Demonstrated ability to innovate, build and launch successful products
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in executing complex projects with cross-functional dependencies
• A passion for driving simplicity and operational excellence in enterprise-scale solutions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present to C-level executives.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• High energy and excellent teamwork skills
• Have a bias for action and demonstrate ownership

How we work:

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
