Linux/Red Hat System Engineer - AWS Cloud Migration (5-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain Linux infrastructure, primarily Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

- Perform manual and automated patching of Linux systems.

- Manage and secure cloud resources in AWS.

- Migrate workloads from on-premises environments to AWS cloud.

- Upgrade and migrate Linux servers.

- Manage access control and security for Linux systems and cloud resources.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux and cloud-related issues.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation.

- Participate in incident and change management discussions.

- Work independently or as part of a team on various projects.

- Communicate technical subjects and issues effectively to stakeholders.

- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Required Skills :

- 5-6 years of experience in managing Linux infrastructure.

- Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

- Good working knowledge of Linux patching (manual and automated).

- Good experience with AWS Cloud Services.

- Experience in managing access and securing cloud resources.

- Experience in migrating workloads from on-premises to cloud.

- Experience in upgrading and migrating Linux servers.

- Strong troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience in Linux system administration and cloud migration.

- Strong understanding of Linux security and networking concepts.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
