Oracle RMS Consultant (4-6 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

1. RMS & ReSA Support & Implementation :

- Participate in design discussions and capture requirements for new ReSA and RMS enhancements.

- Respond to and resolve ReSA incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.

- Assist with the development of retail enhancements and bug fixes in ReSA and RMS.

- Create, review, and deploy technical specifications for enhancements and fixes.

2. Development & Scripting :

- Develop and maintain complex SQL and PLSQL queries for reporting and processing.

- Create Unix shell scripts and Pro-C programs for integration and automation.

- Deploy RMS and ReSA code changes and manage changes through the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process.

3. Testing & Deployment :

- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new enhancements and bug fixes.

- Manage deployments of code changes and ensure smooth operations post-deployment.

4. Collaboration & Communication :

- Participate in weekly status meetings with clients to discuss issues, provide ETA for fixes/changes, and track progress.

- Collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders to ensure all technical and business requirements are met.

Skills and Qualifications :

Must-Have :

- 4 to 6 years of experience in Oracle Retail (RMS & ReSA) implementation and support.

- Strong expertise in SQL/PLSQL, Unix shell scripting, and Pro-C programming.

- Solid knowledge of Retail Functionality and experience working with Oracle RMS and ReSA.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Good-to-Have :

- Basic knowledge of additional Retail Applications such as Oracle ReIM and RPM.

- Experience with enterprise job scheduling tools such as UC4
