Mechanical Design Engineer (Lighting industry) - Thane

Role & responsibilities :-

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to bring new or improved products and derivatives to market.

➢ Ownership of project deliverables, including design drawings, design review action items, supporting documentation, packaging, instruction sheets, etc.

➢ Influence, review, and critique others designs, ensuring best practices are followed and lessons learned are incorporated.

➢ Simultaneously support multiple projects in various phases of development.

➢ Work with a team to analyze risks and root out issues early in the design process, using various internal Focal Point resources, as needed.

➢ Utilize a hands-on approach to product design, working closely with manufacturing.

Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge, and Experience :-

➢ 3-5 years of professional engineering work experience, preferably in Value Engineering.

➢ Bachelors degree in Engineering or Industrial Design from an accredited program.

➢ 3D CAD software expertise required. SolidWorks preferred.

➢ Demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams through projects or organization
