Technical Lead - Data Platform

The Enterprise Data Platformteam managesthe central platform for Nokia Enterprise Data, to facilitate reporting, analytic and automation needs. We ingest, store, and distribute all kinds of data, from multiple Nokia systems. We are looking for a Technical Lead to play a key role in the development and enhancement of our Azure based data platform.

Required Skills

• 10+ years experience, including 6+ years in Data Engineering or related fields
• Proficiency in Azure Data and Analytics services, Databricks/Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Python, Spark, and Delta Lake
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools
• Strong skills in data solution development, architecture, and ETL design
• Knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure, security, and cost management
• Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with project management approaches
• Understanding of advanced ETL design patterns and architectures
• Experience in solution design, technical reviews, and mentoring

Desired skills

• Experience with SAP data ingestion, real-time data ingestion, data replication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

We are looking for a proactive key member who will have a key role in leading the development of our data platform. This is a hands-on technical role in a dynamic agile environment, working directly with developers, architects, Data and IT engineers, product managers and stakeholders.

As a problem-solver in our team, you'll:

• Gain hands-on experience with diverse technologies including Azure Databricks, DevOps, and Data Governance
• Work on data replication, real-time processing, and various data architectures
• Collaborate in a global, multi-vendor environment
• Design and maintain data ingestion processes and integrations
• Lead junior engineers and oversee project deliverables
• Drive platform adoption and modernization initiatives
