ERP Support Executive

Role & responsibilities

• ERP System Support: Provide ongoing support for users of the ERP system, including troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and resolving technical problems.
• System Maintenance: Assist in regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure the ERP system is always running smoothly.
• User Training & Documentation: Train staff members on the proper use of the ERP system. Create and update user manuals and training materials to ensure users are equipped with the knowledge needed.
• Data Management: Assist with the import and export of data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across various modules within the ERP system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (Finance, HR, Admissions, etc.) to understand their needs and ensure that the ERP system supports those functions effectively.
• System Testing: Participate in testing new features and updates to the ERP system, providing feedback on any issues or improvements needed.
• Reports & Dashboards: Help generate and maintain key reports and dashboards as required by management or department heads.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to processes, workflows, and system functionalities to enhance the overall user experience and system efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience with specific educational ERP systems (e.g., Banner, Ellucian, or similar).
• Knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Basic understanding of educational processes such as student records, finance, and HR systems.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: At least [X] years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably in an educational setting or similar environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms). Knowledge of database management, troubleshooting techniques, and system configurations.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a proactive attitude towards resolving issues.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users.
• Attention to Detail: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
