Position: Recruiter
Location: NIIT BKC, Mumbai
Work Schedule: Monday Friday (Office), Saturday (Work from Home)
Timings: 9:30 AM 6:30 PM

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruiter to join our team at NIIT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and hiring high-quality trainers across various industries, including Telecom, Retail, Petroleum, Sales, Service, and Behavioral Training. Additionally, the recruiter will be responsible for hiring key eLearning & development (L&D) professionals, such as content developers, instructional designers, Articulate designers, and content writers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Talent Sourcing & Acquisition:
• Identify and engage with trainers and learning professionals across various industries.
• Source profiles through job portals, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals.
• Build and maintain a strong database of industry experts and training professionals.

• Screening & Shortlisting:
• Evaluate candidate profiles to ensure alignment with training needs and client requirements.
• Conduct initial screening calls and assess trainers’ experience, expertise, and availability.

• End-to-End Recruitment Management:
• Manage the hiring process, from candidate sourcing to onboarding.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand role-specific requirements.
• Coordinate interviews, negotiate contracts, and finalize hiring.

• Stakeholder Management:
• Work closely with hiring managers to define role expectations and hiring timelines.
• Maintain strong relationships with trainers, freelancers, and L&D professionals.

• Market Research & Talent Mapping:
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging training domains, and hiring patterns.
• Develop strategies to attract top talent in the training and instructional design space.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: 3+ years in recruitment, preferably in training, learning & development, and education related hiring.

• Industry Expertise: Familiarity with hiring freelance trainers, corporate trainers, content developers, instructional designers, and L&D specialists.

• Recruitment Skills: Strong expertise in sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates.

• Networking & Relationship Building: Ability to engage and maintain relationships with training professionals.

• Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to negotiate contracts.

• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using job portals, LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other recruitment tools.
