Instructional Designer

Job Title: Instructional Designer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Instructional Design

• Design, develop, and implement engaging learning programs, including instructor-led training (ILT), e-learning courses, webinars, and other learning solutions.
• Utilize instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Rapid Prototyping) to ensure effective learning experiences.
• Analyze learner needs, business requirements, and objectives to create customized learning solutions.

2. Content Development

• Develop high-quality training materials, such as participant guides, job aids, assessments, and multimedia content.
• Create interactive, multimedia-based e-learning courses using tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or other e-learning software.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

3. Learning Strategy and Assessment

• Conduct needs assessments and analyze performance gaps to recommend appropriate learning interventions.
• Design and implement evaluations to assess learning outcomes and program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements as needed.

4. Project Management

• Manage multiple instructional design projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and other departments, to ensure successful course deployment and integration.

5. Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with trends in instructional design, learning technologies, and best practices.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance training programs based on learner feedback and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in instructional design or a related field (e.g., Learning & Development, E-learning).
• Proficient in e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia, as well as Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in creating assessments, quizzes, and other learning evaluation tools.
• Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia development tools is a plus.
