Design HW-SW (Hardware-Software) integration plans and perform integrated testing.
Lead FAT with customers and handle associated reporting.
Identify project risks and issues and escalate to Lead Engineer/Project Manager with mitigation plans.
Assist the Lead Engineer in managing medium-to-large project execution as Area/Sub-Lead.
Lead and mentor small teams, setting goals and targets for team members.
Coach and train junior resources to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Create and maintain "As Built" documentation.
Develop SAT (Site Acceptance Test) plans and perform SAT at customer locations.
Perform loop checks, start-up, and commissioning support.
Implement and troubleshoot bus interfaces (Profibus/Fieldbus).
Assume full ownership of assigned work and manage subordinates effectively.
Mentor system engineers, helping to grow their technical capabilities.
Be open to travel for assignments, both domestic and international.
Prepare commissioning progress reports and provide updates to management and customers.
Oversee the system handover process to the customer and service teams.
Resolve punch points during site commissioning.
Expertise Requirements:
Extensive commissioning experience, including up to 5000 I/Os for Engineers, 10,000 I/Os for Senior Engineers, and over 10,000 I/Os for Lead Engineers.
Experience commissioning third-party devices, including large video screens (LVS), zone 1 HMIs, CCTV systems, F&G (Fire & Gas) systems, and ESD (Emergency Shutdown) systems.
Quality Control & Assurance
Implementation of EEEC IMS processes/documentation as & when required throughout the project.
Adopts to WA quality requirements and Customer s regulatory guidelines
Practices and promotes First time right approach.
Technically follows GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
Other Duties
Perform other additional specific duties, when requested by the business. These will, typically, be strategic in nature but could potentially be anything that the post holder is suitably qualified and experienced to undertake. These duties may be assigned to the person under guidance of a supervisor.
