Test Engineer - Verification & Validation (3-5 yrs)

Job Title : Test Engineer (V&V)

Department : Verification & Validation (V&V)

Key Responsibilities :

Utilize and Manage Tools :

- Expertise in using tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, CANDiva, and vFlash.

- Familiarity with PTC tools for test management and defect tracking.

Protocol Knowledge :

- Proficient in Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS).

- Deep understanding of Controller Area Network (CAN) and CAN-FD protocols.

Software Proficiency :

- Hands-on experience with software development using QT.

- CAPL scripting experience with debugging tools such as Lauterbach and iSystem.

- Proficient in using VtestStudio for test automation.

Test Development and Execution :

- Developing comprehensive test cases ensuring coverage of all critical aspects.

- Automating test cases to enhance efficiency and broader coverage.

- Executing tests across all Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) defined test disciplines (SWE 5.0 & SWE 6.0).

Software Testing Tools :

- In-depth knowledge of testing tools such as VTest Studio and CANoe.

- Capability to troubleshoot and enhance tool usage for more efficient testing processes.

Architecture Knowledge :

- Understand software and system architecture.

- Must have domain knowledge in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Certification and Standards :

- Preferably ISTQB-FL (Foundation Level) certified.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science).

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Utilize and work extensively with tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, CANDiva, vFlash, and PTC.

- Develop a solid understanding of UDS, CAN, and CANFD protocols.

- Have hands-on experience with software QT. SWIT Optional

- Write and debug CAPL scripts using debugger tools like Lauterbach, iSystem, and VtestStudio.

- Develop and automate test cases.

- Execute tests according to ASPICE-defined disciplines (SWE5.0 & SWE6.0).

- Gain deep understanding of Software Testing Tools (VTest Studio & CANOE).

- Understand software and system architecture, specifically within the ADAS domain.

- Preferably have ISTQB-FL Certification.
