Job Title : Software Developer (Embedded Systems - Linux Domain)

Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with a strong background in the Linux Domain to join our Embedded Systems Department. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of automotive experience and extensive knowledge of the SW development process, ADAS Domain, and Linux BSP (Board Support Package). This role involves requirement engineering, technical writing, and compliance with ASPICE processes and Base Practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Requirement Engineering : Analyze and manage stakeholder requirements. Generate and maintain requirements traceability & metrics reports.
- Development Process : Adhere to SW development processes, including the V-model and ASPICE processes.
- Linux BSP and Application Development : Develop and maintain Linux BSPs and applications with a focus on image processing.
- Technical Writing : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and interface descriptions.
- Project Management : Define project baselines and maintain the requirements repository in compliance with configuration management rules.
- Stakeholder Interaction : Collaborate with Magna counterparts for requirements handling.
- Problem Solving : Demonstrate problem-solving proficiency, addressing complex engineering challenges.
- Tools & Technologies : Utilize tools such as Windchill for configuration management and requirements documentation.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Qualifications :
- Educational Background : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience : 5-8 years of automotive experience, with a strong focus on embedded systems and Linux Domains. Experience with ADAS domain knowledge is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in Linux BSP, application development, and image processing. Familiarity with SW development processes (V-model) and ASPICE processes.
- Tool Proficiency : Experience with Windchill or similar configuration management tools.
- Communication Skills : Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Problem Solving : Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles in the automotive domain.
- Familiarity with model-based development and tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
