Job Description :

Role : Test Engineer, Verification & Validation Department (V&V)

Experience : 3.5 - 7yrs

As a Test Engineer in the V&V department, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety and reliability of advanced automotive systems, particularly ADAS. You will execute comprehensive testing strategies using HIL setups, scripting, and diagnostic tools, focusing on communication protocols like CAN and UDS.

Mandatory Skills :

Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong knowledge of ADAS systems and their testing requirements.

- Proficiency in HIL testing tools and setups, such as dSPACE or Vector

- Good knowledge of scripting (Python /CAPL

- Strong understanding on diagnostics, CAN, UDS protocols.

- Solid understanding of verification and validation processes and methodologies.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team

Tools :

1. PTC integrity (Requirement management tool)

2. Understanding about Automation Desk is preferrable for Automation

3. CANoe/Canalyser for simulation purposes

Desired Skills:-

1. HIL test implementation.

2. Good knowledge of simulation & hardware virtualization.

3. Undertanding on VT studio, functional safety and cyber security is preferable.

4. ISTQB certified is preferred.

Job Responsibilities :

1. Analyse requirements and define interfaces in collaboration with feature owner.

2. Creating the Test cases based on Requirements as per the plan.

3. Responsible for creating test strategies & plan for Testing.

4. Guiding the team in functional & technical aspect.

5. Executing the Test cases manual & Automation for functional and Non-Functional requirements.

6. Test automation needs to be perform by using capl/python if necessary

- HIL Testing : Develop, configure, and execute HIL tests for ADAS systems to validate their performance and safety.

- Scripting : Write and maintain test scripts using Python and CAPL for automated testing of automotive systems.

- Diagnostics : Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting using tools aligned with CAN and UDS protocols.

- Test Planning : Create detailed test plans, specifications, and test cases based on system requirements.

- Data Analysis : Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide comprehensive feedback and reports for continuous improvement.

- Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and validation of systems.

- Documentation : Maintain thorough documentation of test procedures, results, and any identified issues as part of the verification and validation process
