Role : Senior Software MBD Engineer, Embedded Department

(Senior Software Model-Based Design (MBD) Engineer role within the Embedded department, focusing on MBD, AutoSAR Toolset, and Model-In-the-Loop (MIL)/Software-In-the-Loop (SIL) testing and AutoCode generation)

Overview :

As a Senior Software MBD Engineer, you will contribute to the development of robust automotive software solutions. You'll focus on model-based design using advanced tools, integrating AUTOSAR framework, and ensuring high standards of functional safety and performance in automotive applications.

Responsibilities :

- Model-Based Development : Utilize tools like MATLAB/Simulink to design, validate, and implement models for automotive systems2.

- AutoCode Generation : Generate production-ready code from models using tools such as TargetLink and Embedded Coder.

- Integration and Configuration : Configure and integrate AUTOSAR software components using the AUTOSAR toolset.

- MIL/SIL Testing : Perform Model-In-the-Loop and Software-In-the-Loop testing to validate the models and generated code.

- Requirements Analysis : Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze both customer and internal requirements, translating them into precise software designs and plans.

- Testing and Validation : Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans to ensure the software meets stringent automotive quality standards.

- Documentation : Ensure thorough documentation of design, testing procedures, and results to support traceability and compliance.

- Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams, including hardware and validation engineers, to achieve seamless integration of software components2.

- Functional Safety : Implement and adhere to functional safety standards (FuSa), ensuring all development aligns with safety requirements.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Extensive experience with Model-Based Design using MATLAB/Simulink and other MBD tools.

- Proven track record in AutoCode generation and the use of TargetLink or Embedded Coder2.

- Strong understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and experience with the AUTOSAR toolset.

- Proficiency in MIL/SIL testing methodologies and tools.

- Solid foundation in embedded C programming and familiarity with software development tools.

- Experience with automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
