Requirements

• Education: Professional degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech, or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant IT experience, specifically in SAP Basis and HANA DB operations and support.
• Strong experience with SAP BASIS, including implementation and support.
• Proficiency in both operating systems (Linux, Windows) and database exposure (HANA).
• In-depth knowledge of NetWeaver concepts and products (ERP or S/4 HANA, BW, PI, FIORI, Solution Manager).
• Experience with day-to-day BASIS tasks, upgrades, add-on installations, and HANA HA and DR setup.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and preventive maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, able to work effectively in virtual teams across diverse cultures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proven track record of delivering against challenging targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day SAP BASIS tasks and ensure the stability of SAP systems.
• Participate in upgrades, add-on installations, and HANA HA and DR setups.
• Provide technical expertise for resolving escalated issues and participate in crisis resolution meetings.
• Collaborate with functional teams on the integration and support of SAP systems and new initiatives.
• Automate administrative and operational support functions and provide training to operational support teams.
• Participate in providing 24x7 support on a rotational basis to ensure the operation of critical systems for various customers.
• Foster teamwork and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
• Train and coach project group members to enhance knowledge management activities.
