Job Description:

The SOC Monitoring Analyst is responsible for monitoring alerts and getting them actioned in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively monitor alerts from BMC Helix Control-M, Azure Monitor, Oracle Infrastructure Monitor, SolarWinds, and Nagios.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues to ensure optimal system uptime.
• Perform routine system administration tasks, including user management, file system management, and backup/restore operations.
• Assist in implementing system upgrades and patches, adhering to best practices and change management procedures.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to system emergencies promptly.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the monitoring and IT infrastructure space.
• Create bridge calls and involve the right stakeholders to drive resolutions and find root causes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science / information technology / or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of proven experience as a Monitoring Analyst.
• Strong understanding of monitoring tools such as BMC Helix Control-M, Azure Monitor, Oracle Infrastructure Monitor, SolarWinds, and Nagios.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure, OCI, or VMware is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24x7 support environment.

Work Environment:

• This is a full-time position.
• Candidates must be ready to work 5 days a week from Mumbai office.
• Candidates should be ready to work in rotational schedules / shifts and supporting 24x7 operations.
