I was interviewed in Dec 2024.
It was a on campus online test on hacker earth. Questions were medium level
Artificial Intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems.
AI involves machines performing tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and language translation.
Examples of AI include virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa, self-driving cars, recommendation systems like Netflix's algorithm, and fa...
Machine learning is a branch of artificial intelligence that enables systems to learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed.
Machine learning is a subset of artificial intelligence that focuses on developing algorithms and models that allow computers to learn from and make predictions or decisions based on data.
It involves training a model on a dataset to recognize patterns and make predictions...
Supervised ML uses labeled data to train models, while Unsupervised ML finds patterns in unlabeled data.
Supervised ML requires labeled data for training
Unsupervised ML finds patterns in unlabeled data
Supervised ML includes tasks like classification and regression
Unsupervised ML includes tasks like clustering and dimensionality reduction
Example of Supervised ML: predicting house prices based on features like location an...
Deep learning is a subset of machine learning that uses neural networks to model and solve complex problems.
Deep learning involves training neural networks with multiple layers to learn representations of data.
It is used in various applications such as image and speech recognition, natural language processing, and autonomous driving.
Popular deep learning frameworks include TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
LSTM is a type of RNN with additional memory cells to better capture long-term dependencies.
LSTM has a more complex architecture with memory cells, input, forget, and output gates.
RNN suffers from vanishing gradient problem, while LSTM can handle long sequences better.
LSTM is better suited for tasks requiring long-term memory retention, such as speech recognition or language translation.
Attention mechanism in Transformers allows the model to focus on different parts of the input sequence.
Attention mechanism calculates the importance of each input token in relation to the current token being processed.
It helps the model to learn dependencies between words in a sequence.
Self-attention mechanism in Transformers allows the model to consider all input tokens simultaneously.
Attention weights are calculated ...
RAG (RAGS) stands for Read, Attend, Generate. The flow of data in RAG involves reading input, attending to relevant information, and generating output.
Data is first read as input
The model attends to relevant parts of the input
Finally, the model generates an output based on the attended information
My hobbies include playing the guitar, hiking, and reading science fiction novels.
Playing the guitar: I enjoy learning new songs and practicing different techniques.
Hiking: I love exploring nature trails and challenging myself with long hikes.
Reading science fiction novels: I find it fascinating to immerse myself in futuristic worlds and imaginative storytelling.

I applied via Campus Placement and was interviewed before Jan 2024. There was 1 interview round.
Self join is used to join a table with itself to compare rows within the same table.
Use the same table name for both instances in the query
Specify the columns to be compared in the ON clause
Alias the tables to differentiate between them
Find the largest number from an array of strings.
Convert the strings to numbers using parseInt()
Use Math.max() to find the largest number
Handle edge cases like empty array or non-numeric strings
Example: ['10', '5', '20'] should return 20

Data structures are a way to organize and store data efficiently.
Data structures are used to store and manipulate data in a structured manner.
They provide different ways to access and perform operations on the data.
Examples include arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, and graphs.
Developed a web-based project management tool for tracking tasks and deadlines
Used React.js for front-end development
Implemented RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express for back-end
Utilized MongoDB for database management
Incorporated user authentication and authorization features
Integrated real-time notifications using Socket.io
My name is John Smith.
Full name is John Smith
Common name in English-speaking countries
Easy to remember and pronounce
The question is unrelated to the medical field and is not a puzzle or riddle.
The question is asking about the meaning of the interviewer's name.
You can ask the interviewer about the origin or cultural significance of their name.
You can also mention that names often have different meanings in different languages or cultures.
My strengths include problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills - I enjoy tackling complex issues and finding creative solutions.
Attention to detail - I am meticulous in my work and strive for accuracy in all tasks.
Strong communication abilities - I can effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
