Experience: 18+ years in Accounts & Finance, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the Water Division.
- Ensure timely preparation and presentation of financial statements as per regulatory and company standards.
- Monitor and control project-wise cash flows, expenditures, and profitability.
- Implement cost control measures to optimize financial performance.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Direct & Indirect Tax laws (GST, Income Tax, etc.) and handle tax audits.
- Liaise with tax consultants and government authorities for statutory compliances.
- Manage financial audits and statutory filings in coordination with internal and external auditors.
Project Finance & Banking:
- Handle project financing, fund allocation, and liaising with banks and financial institutions for credit facilities.
- Negotiate and secure working capital, term loans, and non-fund-based limits (BGs, LCs).
- Monitor fund utilization and financial risks related to ongoing projects.
Accounts & MIS:
- Supervise accounts finalization, general ledger control, and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain financial MIS reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts, vendor payments, and receivables.
Corporate Governance & Risk Management:
- Implement financial policies, internal controls, and risk management strategies.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, corporate governance, and accounting standards.
Leadership & Coordination:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring efficiency in financial operations.
- Collaborate with project teams, procurement, and senior management for financial decision-making.
- Represent the company in financial discussions with external stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies.
Key Skills Required:
Expertise in financial management, accounting principles, and construction project finance
Strong knowledge of taxation, audits, and regulatory compliance
Experience in handling project budgets, cost controls, and financial risk management
Proficiency in ERP & accounting software
Leadership and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Construction, Infrastructure, Water Supply & Treatment or Irrigation Projects or Any Industry with similar experience
